African Journal of Nursing, Social Work and Traditional Healing Systems
The African Journal of Nursing, Social Work and Traditional Healing Systems is calling for papers for its June 2025 issue. The journal provides a compelling platform for publishing cutting edge research by both Western-oriented practitioners and those inclined to traditional healing systems. The journal welcomes well-researched papers from all subfields of Nursing Science-Practice, Social Work and Science and Traditional Healing Systems. Areas of interest include knowledge, attitudes, practice, rationale, beliefs and benefits of nursing and social work and the production and dissemination of best practices supporting or transforming indigenous and western nursing and social work from the African perspective. The journal also covers herbalism, therapeutic feeds, hydrotherapy and spirituality (such as divination) as healing media.
The journal made its debut in June 2024 and is currently indexed by EBSCO and SABINET. The journal accepts submissions all year round and does not charge any publication fee.
