It is with great pleasure and a deep sense of duty and accomplishment that the editorial board present to the world in this month of June, 2023, the début edition of the latest addition to Adonis and Abbey publications, African Journal of Human Kinetics, Recreation and Health Studies (AJHKRHS). The birth of AJHKRHS is the fulfilment of a great need to provide researchers of African descent additional veritable, affordable and visible platform to ventilate ideas, research findings, innovations and opinions in the field of Human Kinetics, Recreation and Health. This combination of disciplines is inevitable as it brings out the beauty and implications of the nexus between human kinetics, recreation and health.
