A.Call for Papers
The African Journal of Accounting, Banking and Intellectual Capital (AJABIC), a peer-reviewed bi-annual academic journal is calling for papers for its maiden isse in June 2024. The journal is established to cover research efforts on the production of knowledge in all fields of Accounting, Banking and Intellectual Capital. The journal is essentially aimed at promoting and publicizing research works of scholars and practitioners in the three fields covered in the title. The specific objectives include: (i) to encourage conduct of research and publication of results on all branches of Accounting, including Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Forensic Accounting, Auditing, Taxation, Financial Management, Public Sector Accounting and Finance, and Corporate Governance; (ii) to encourage conduct of research and publication of results on all aspects of banking and financial intermediation, including the banking practices of Commercial Banks, Merchant Banks, Development Banks, Micro-Finance Banks, and the supervisory and regulatory practices of Central Banks and Deposit Insurers; and (iii) to encourage conduct of research and publication of results on all the three variants of Intellectual Capital: Human Capital (knowledge, skills, expertise, mastery, research capacity), Structural Capital (trade mark, copyright, patent, formulae, process) and Relational Capital (customer relations, marketing, alumni relations, consultancy). The journal will be indexed by EBSCO, SABINET and ICI. It accepts submissions all year round and does not charge any publication fee.
